Vacancy Assistant Clerk.

Settle Town Council is an active Council that seeks a highly motivated, enthusiastic person to take on the post of Assistant Clerk to the Council.
The post is part time, 14-21hours per week. Working mainly from the Town Hall Office, the hours of work are flexible except for attendance at meetings.
Salary on pay scale Local Government Services (NJC) SCP 23-25 £21,693 – £23,111 (pro rata) which is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Must be IT literate, and be available to attend Council meetings in the evening on the first Monday of each month and a minimum of 6 committee meetings over the year which may be on other days of the week.
Prior relevant experience an advantage but training in all aspects of local government administration, leading to CiLCA qualification will be provided.
